Richard Hurst founded the company in 2007 and has 20 years of real estate experience and over 30 years of retail experience. Richard has been involved in every phase of the real estate industry. He has developed multi-tenant shopping centers, single tenant buildings, and has selected sites for many national retailers including JoAnn Fabrics, Rainbow Apparel, Ann Taylor, Caribou Coffee, Dairy Queen, Hardee's, Pizza Ranch, Panchero's, Sprint, Famous Dave's, Walgreens and Regis Corporation. On the Landlord side he has represented Hooter's, GE, US Realty, Excess Space Retail Services, and many local shopping center owners.

Richard is currently a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and currently serves as State Operations Chair, Restaurant and Real Estate Connections (RARE), CCIM Institute, Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors (KCRAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), and National Eagle Scout Association (NESA).

English is a 20 year veteran of the retail real estate industry with a proven blend of development, brokerage and operations experience. He is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and relocated to the Overland Park, Kansas to pursue brokerage and development opportunities throughout the Midwestern United States. English has completed single tenant build to suit projects for national retailers such as O’Reilly Auto Parts, Dollar Tree and Sherwin Williams in 7 Southeastern and Midwestern states.


He also has had a successful career in tenant representation working with national clients such as Lifetime Fitness, CarMax, Flagstar Bank, Bojangles, Pollo Campero, Fedex Office and Batteries Plus. While not working to find his next real estate project, English enjoys all sorts of outdoor sports including hunting, flyfishing and hiking.
